Privacy Policy

Atlas is built by ManulCoo LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietorship based in Fulshear, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Atlas app for iPhone and iPad.

The short version: your data lives primarily in your iCloud account. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we collect as little as possible to run the app.

Atlas uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to store your account data. This includes group names, member names and contact details you enter, bill amounts, and payment history.

This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

When you add members to a group, you may enter their name, phone number, and email address. You are responsible for ensuring you have authorization to enter and use this contact information.

Member contact information is used solely to deliver invoices on your behalf. We do not use member contact information for marketing, profiling, or share it with third parties for any purpose other than delivery.

If you use a paid tier (Plus or Pro), invoice data — including member name, contact details, line items, and total — is temporarily stored on our servers (hosted by Supabase) to power the hosted invoice web page that members can view and pay.

Invoice data is automatically deleted after a fixed retention window:

· Free tier: 7 days after due date · Plus tier: 15 days after due date · Pro tier: 30 days after due date

After this window, the data is permanently deleted and the invoice link becomes inactive. This is by design — we retain the minimum data for the minimum time necessary.

Paid tiers use third-party services to deliver invoice notifications:

· SMS: Twilio (twilio.com) — processes member phone numbers for message delivery only · Email: Resend (resend.com) — processes member email addresses for delivery only

These services act as processors on our behalf. They do not use member contact information for their own purposes. Message content is limited to invoice details and a link.

By using Atlas, admins confirm that members have consented to receive invoice notifications via their provided contact information. Members may opt out by contacting the admin or emailing contact@manulcoo.com.

We may collect anonymized, aggregate crash reports and usage statistics through Apple's built-in analytics (opt-in, controlled by your iOS device settings under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements). We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs.

All in-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card information. Apple's payment handling is governed by their terms and privacy policy.

Atlas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Atlas, please contact us at contact@manulcoo.com and we will delete it promptly.

Your iCloud data can be deleted at any time by deleting the app or clearing iCloud data from your device Settings.

For invoice data on our servers (paid tiers), it is automatically deleted at the end of your tier's retention window. You may also request immediate deletion by emailing contact@manulcoo.com with the invoice details.

If you are a member (recipient of an invoice) and would like your information removed, contact the admin who sent the invoice, or email us at contact@manulcoo.com.

We use industry-standard security practices. Invoice data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare and Supabase, both of which maintain their own security certifications.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app. The current version is always available at manulcoo.com/privacy.
